In a wide ranging conversation we move from mainstream media manipulation to meaning and purpose in life, faith and the existence of a higher power, the meaning of freedom and our growing obsession with so-called safety, science as the new religion, and the spiritual battle and assault on human consciousness which now threatens our survival. Something very dark is unfolding at this time which cannot simply be explained away in the name of a public health emergency.

I’ve listened to this five or six times. It’s a significant episode. The speed at which it reaches further than most things on the internet is a great part of it’s strength. The final 20 minutes or so haunted me for some time.
And an especial thanks for raising the matter of “something darker going on here”. Twenty years ago I would have reserved judgment on such a topic. Since then I have had to accept the fact that there is a darkness around us which has seeped into just about everything in our society and while it has been with us for an extremely long time it’s recent progress has been rapid.
We are all in your debt again…

What I find almost as sad as the closing melody for the show is that the ones whom I felt most close with politically and shared the most ideals with, are unrecognizable to me now.
I’m in Quebec, Canada and as of September 1st, the government will require a vaccine passport for all unessential services. So no more bars, cinemas or concerts for me. Vaccinated or not, I refuse to walk with a digital code. It was my personal red line that I felt I could not tolerate.
What’s even more surprising is that the government previously passed numerous laws without parliament since we are ¨in a state of emergency¨, has approved the passports without any public debate or a without a debate in parliament. Only one political party is opposing this drastic measure. All others parties don’t even dare to challenge this new law. Most of the people don’t seem to find this alarming.
So I went to the demonstration last Saturday. I was alone and I recognized only one person in a crowd in the tens of thousands. Let’s say my political views are far left, anarchist leaning mixed with a bit of spirituality. I found myself surrounded by people I had a prejudice against. Mostly right wing people. People I would not necessarily hang out with. People I would find cringy and would not want to be seen with. I got a weird look by a man proudly wearing a shirt with a white power symbol on it. Nevertheless, I felt strongly that once digital vaccine passport are implemented, there’s no going back and politicians will use it for total control of the population. So I walked besides the Trump t-shirt wearing, anti-communists protesters.
I saw no anti-capitalists protesting against big pharma, no anti-fa protesting against government, no defund the police advocate protesting against tracking devices. All the lefties I grew up with, who were willing to smash Mcdonalds and H&M windows in the name of fighting the system, have been entranced by this madness. They are not opposing in any ways those drastic measures, they have been neutralized and are fully assimilated in the system.
I have no idea if this is the same in the UK, in Europe or elsewhere but this is a sign things have changed since the occupy wall street days and protest against the G7. We are witnessing a great change in the world. A change in polarities and what we thought was normality is underway, or has already happened.
great conversation , i think the so called boom destroyed the man who should be standing against this Thing that is happening , im so surprised in my age group mid 50s , we had such a transition from poverty / intervention beef to 2 holidays in spain a year in ten years . the plan has been running for a long time and continues . thanks to thomas for pointing me to join your site

Ken Wheeler or Theoria Apophasis on YouTube will give an excellent education (including reading lists) on hardcore metaphysics, Indian, Buddhist and Western. He will feature the true giants of the transcendent through human history, particularly Plotinus and lots of material on original Buddhism.
It may point a few in the right direction.
